Foundational Workshop
Starting at £200
This two-hour London photo walk is for anyone who wants to get to know their camera and explore how to photograph the city and its architecture.

Key camera principles such as shutter speed, aperture and ISO, along with shooting modes;
Selecting your focal length, understanding depth of field and sharpness, and how to expose for bright, low-light and high-contrast scenes;
Introduction to key composition techniques such as wide-angle perspectives, telephoto compression and front-/back-lighting.
No experience required, and expert guidance every step of the way: we’ll start at the beginning and build your skill set from the ground up!
Intermediate Workshop
Starting at £375
Three-hour combined London photo walk and editing course, tailored to your requirements and designed to take your shooting and editing skills to the next level.

Composing and shooting in challenging scenarios such as wind, rain and fog;
Shooting to edit: panoramic stitching, timeslices, digital blending, and optimal settings and ND filters for super-long exposures;
Introduction to key editing concepts such as perspective correction, colour-grading, layer-masking and exposure blending
Some experience required with camera settings and Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop: we’ll build on this and focus on honing your skill set to elevate your creative vision and capture the shots you want.
Advanced Workshop
Starting at £500
Full-day immersive photography and editing workshop, with an itinerary of locations across London and a deep-dive into optimising your editing workflow.

Analysing weather and light: mastering how and when to shoot with the final edit in mind;
Unique locations and vantage points you won’t find via a search engine, drawing on 10+ years of exploring and shooting in the city;
Portfolio case study, with a step-by-step break-down of my editing workflow from unedited RAW file to final image.
This is a custom-built course tailored for your interests and goals. Whether your passion is architecture or the city skyline, this is a day focused on capturing the most stunning locations in the city and creating impactful images. If you want a step-by-step walkthrough of the shooting and editing workflow I’ve used for every image in my folio, this is the course for you.

Our meeting date, time and agenda will be agreed in advance, with confirmation a few days beforehand.

Please share as much information as possible about your skill level and goals so that we can develop objectives to help you get the most out of your workshop.

Your camera and lens/es, full battery, empty memory card, tripod, and comfortable shoes as we’ll be walking to locations where public transport isn’t available.
If you do not yet own a camera one can be provided at an additional cost. Please be sure to advise me at the time of your booking.
For the advanced workshop, please bring a laptop so we can develop your workflow using both Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. If you aren’t able to bring a laptop, I’m happy to cover this part of our workshop using mine. -
I’ll always do my best to accommodate your preferred workshop date. Please reach out and I’ll see what flexibility I have.

The workshop will not be cancelled in bad weather except in instances of severe weather warnings. Where it is not safe to be outdoors we will shift the workshop locations to adapt.

Yes, absolutely!
Please note that gift vouchers must be paid for in full at the time of purchase, and unfortunately are not refundable. Standard terms apply regarding rescheduling your workshop. Please see workshop terms for further information. -
I understand that sometimes plans change and want to be as flexible as possible.
A 50% deposit will be payable at the time of booking, and the balance will be due two days prior to your workshop.
While the deposit is non-refundable, if you give us more than two weeks’ notice, you can use it to book an alternative date for a future workshop of equal or lesser value (subject to availability) within 12months eg. If the new workshop is at a higher price, you’ll just need to cover the difference.
For cancellations within two weeks of the workshop date, the deposit will be forfeited. If something unexpected comes up, please reach out—we’ll always do our best to help where we can.
All cancellations must be made in writing via email. If you don’t attend without prior notice, unfortunately, the deposit cannot be transferred.
